I am a mother of two and a self-taught artist born and raised in Chicago. I love creating cartoon art through different mediums. At 11 years old, I turned to drawing as a source of comfort following the loss of my mother as well as back in 2020 losing my Dad. From bubble-letter sketches, my practice grew beyond the sketchbook and onto canvases, eventually unfolding across multiple mediums. Art has always been both a coping mechanism and a form of meditation for me—a space where I can disconnect from the world and fully immerse myself in the act of creation.
